Business Wi-Fi design and installation
There is one corner of the building where the Wi-Fi drops, and everybody has silently agreed not to sit there.
What we do
How we handle it.
Business Wi-Fi is not a consumer router with a bigger aerial. We survey your building, place access points where they are actually needed and set up a network that holds a video call while you walk across the office.
What’s included
- Wi-Fi survey of your building before anything is quoted
- Business access points sized to your space
- Seamless roaming between access points
- Separate guest Wi-Fi with its own password
- A separate network for card machines, cameras and smart devices
- Bandwidth controls so one download does not sink the office
- Monitoring and remote management
- Coverage checked after installation, room by room
Good to know
Three things worth knowing before you ask.
Surveyed, not guessed
We measure signal and interference in your actual building. Thick walls, mezzanines and metal racking change everything, and a floor plan alone will not show you that.
Guests stay on the guest network
Visitors get internet. They do not get anywhere near your files. The same goes for anything smart that connects to your network.
Checked when we leave
We walk the building and confirm coverage before we call it finished, and we come back if a new layout changes things.
Questions
Wi-Fi, answered.
Why can't we just use a better router?
A single router has one antenna in one place, so coverage falls away with distance and walls. Business Wi-Fi uses several smaller access points that hand devices between them as people move. It is a different design, not simply more powerful equipment.
Do you need to install cabling for the access points?
Usually yes — access points are powered over the network cable, which is what makes them reliable. We include any cabling in the quote after the survey, so there is no mid-installation surprise about running a cable through a wall.
How do we get a price?
Start with a free IT review. We look at what you have, agree what you actually need, and send a written quote at a fixed price. There is no charge for the review and no obligation afterwards.
Do we have to be on a support plan?
No. We take on individual projects for businesses that already have IT support elsewhere. Plenty of clients start with one project and move onto a plan later.
