Projects & advice
IT projects, office moves and rollouts
You are moving office in six weeks, and the plan for phones, internet and forty computers is currently a note on someone's phone.
What we do
How we handle it.
Projects go wrong in the planning, not the doing. We scope the work properly, tell you the real cost up front, and run it to a date so your team turns up and everything works.
What’s included
- Office moves and new site setups
- Server replacements and migrations
- Windows and hardware rollouts across the business
- Phone system and VoIP installations
- Moving from another IT provider to us
- Merging the systems of two businesses
- A named project lead and a written plan
- Fixed-price quotes, agreed before we start
Good to know
Three things worth knowing before you ask.
One quote, one price
We quote fixed price on scoped work. If we have underestimated something, that is our problem, not an extra line on your invoice.
Out of hours as standard
Cutovers happen in the evening or at a weekend. Downtime during your working day is a planning failure, not an inevitability.
You get the documentation
Every project ends with a handover pack — what was installed, how it is configured, and every licence and password. It belongs to you.
Questions
IT projects, answered.
How far in advance should we book an office move?
Six to eight weeks is comfortable. The long pole is almost always the internet connection — a new leased line can take weeks to install regardless of how quickly everything else moves. Tell us as early as you can, even if the date is not fixed.
What if the project runs over?
On a fixed-price quote, that is our problem rather than yours. We would rather scope carefully at the start and absorb the occasional miss than build a buffer into every quote and charge everyone for it.
How do we get a price?
Start with a free IT review. We look at what you have, agree what you actually need, and send a written quote at a fixed price. There is no charge for the review and no obligation afterwards.
Do we have to be on a support plan?
No. We take on individual projects for businesses that already have IT support elsewhere. Plenty of clients start with one project and move onto a plan later.
